The history of the Crimea Peninsula is very rich and the earliest known inhabitants of the area known as Crimmerians settled as early as 7th century BC. In 1917 the fields around the Crimea Peninsula became a major battle field between Caucasian and Red Russian soldiers. It was occupied once again by the Germans form 1942 to 1944. The area has become very popular as a holiday maker heaven or people of all Soviet and European countries. The Crimean Peninsula is famous for its warm sea, the sunny and healthy climate and the diverse vegetation. An ideal destination for climbing, mount biking, and more exotic forms of outdoor activity it provides visitors with a vast array of adventure sports.
With its Mediterranean climate and the stunning scenery, the area of the Crimean Peninsula is offering a lot in terms of real estate investments.
